Keep it fresh
Care guide
Hand-printed pieces last years when you treat them right. Four rules.
Wash inside out, cold
30°C or cooler, inside out, with similar colours. Cold water protects the print and stops the colour fading.
No bleach, no softener
Bleach eats the print and fabric softener clogs the fibres, which makes heavyweight cotton go limp.
Hang dry in the shade
Tumble drying is the fastest way to shrink a tee and crack a print. Gulf sun fades colour — dry in shade.
Iron around the print
Never iron directly on the artwork. Turn inside out, low heat, or press around it.
Treated this way, a 973 piece keeps its shape and its colour for years — that's the point of a limited run.
